Checking Your Grades

Most activities are auto-graded, so you will have immediate access to your grades in the Gradebook tab. However, some activities (for example, Speaking or Writing) have to be graded by a teacher. They will not appear in the Gradebook until the assignment is graded.

Monitor Your Performance

Feedback is an important part of learning. In a digital environment like MyEnglishLab, feedback is given when you are completing assignments, and can also be accessed through your gradebook. Your gradebook provides you with your overall average, Unit averages, Assignment averages, as well as visual indicators of your success. Frequent monitoring of your gradebook can help you see how you are doing in the course, and also help you determine the areas which you may need to spend a little more time on.
